Our Passion is our Focus

Our passion is for “Pro-Active Healthcare.” We search for promising companies and technologies that can significantly impact people’s lives by keeping them well. While SRI funds tend to be focused on the physical environment/planet, we believe that a parallel, people-directed pro-active healthcare focus is no less vital.

Building and growing a company is like assembling a jigsaw; we aim to put the “pieces” together supported by our advisory teams and fund partners. Our aim is the same as our investee companies - to be the best at what we do, whilst making a difference.

Seonaid Mackenzie is the founder of Sturgeon Ventures LLP and the creator of The Wellness Fund. It is her infectious passion and drive that brought the group together.

The Wellness Fund seeks products and services that can make a positive difference in our world and the marketplaces they compete in. We aim, with our fund partners, to become a preferred provider of growth equity capital to companies in the Pro-active Health and Wellness sector in the European region and by working closely and effectively with entrepreneurs thus support, nurture and help grow exceptional businesses.
