Shirley Gibson

Shirley Gibson (55) – Investment Analyst Senior Associate, Shirley takes part in reviewing the broad universe of Health and Wellness investments and screening prospective investments according to the firm’s investment selection criteria. She also assists Sturgeon Ventures with the analysis of specific investment opportunities and participates in its due diligence process. In addition, Shirley coordinates interaction between Sturgeon Ventures and its outside experts such as the Advisory Panel and the Fund Partners. Shirley is the overall responsible person for the administrative side of our investments and realisations, as well as for all administration. Prior to joining Sturgeon Ventures, Shirley was for five years at RW Baird a US Mid West Investment Bank and prior to that she was involved for ten years in Human Resources at Marconi.
Alexandra Underhill

Alexandra Underhill BSc (Hons) (41) – Investment Analyst Senior Associate, will be involved in screening and reviewing new investment opportunities and researching continuing developments, trends and opportunities in the wellness sector.
Alexandra spent five years working as an analyst and stockbroker in emerging markets for a number of investment banks including James Capel and Deutsche Bank. Prior to that she worked as a management consultant to Mobil Oil and Caltex Oil (South Africa). Alexandra is a qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor and continues in ongoing training and development with Spectrum, London. Alexandra graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Politics and International Relations from Southampton University. She continues in ongoing Psychotherapy training.
Andrew Haggard

Andrew Haggard A.C.A. (40) – Andrew qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Chantrey Vellacott in 1995. After which he joined the Corporate Accounts department at LGT Asset Management. Andrew studied Chemical Engineering at Edinburgh University, during which time he worked on placements for ICI and Glaxo Welcome.
In 2004, Andrew joined forces with his brother Tim to form an accounting practice servicing financial and other service industry clients. Since then the practice has grown to include another partner and now services nearly 700 clients. Andrew focuses on applying his commercial skills, accumulated over his time working in the business environment, to the needs of his clients as well as helping them with the technical and reporting requirements.
