About the Fund
The Wellness Fund is organised by Sturgeon Ventures LLP, a London based portfolio management and corporate finance advisory firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).
The Fund is designed to be able to invest in public and private companies, on its own or alongside other investors, contributing a maximum, typically, of up to £5m in a single company from its own resources. The Fund will also consider propositions taking public companies private, working alongside other equity and mezzanine partner investors.
The Fund is advised by investment managers affiliated to the Fund's investment management company, The Wellness Investment Group Limited. Final investment decisions are made by The Wellness Investment Group Limited based on recommendations by its investment management committee.
Group members are active in corporate finance advisory work within the sector.
